Amy grew up in Oxfordshire and after completing her Drama and Theatre Studies Degree in London, trained at The Oxford School of Drama.

Amy also spent time studying Classical Singing at The Liszt Academy in Budapest. While there she was represented by a Hungarian acting agent and filmed Dinotopia for Hallmark. In the hills of Buda Amy also worked with the renowned composer Peter Eotvos on one of his albums, voicing a 'squeaky cat'!

The independent film, Safe Zone, was short-listed to the final 20 films for the TCM Classic Short Award as part of the BFI London Film Festival 2008, nominated for the UK Film Council Award for Best Film at the 5th London Short Film Festival and selected for Shorts R Us special screening in the Palais at the 61st Cannes Film Festival 2008.

Amy has recently finished a run of Perrault's fairytale The Master Cat for Red Dog Theatre and is currently in rehearsal for the Premiere of Lazarus, directed by Paul Milton, at Cheltenham Everyman Studio. www.everymantheatre.org.uk
